We are going to celebrate the cooler weather and the beauty of fall, together, Sunday, November 17th at 11am. Bring your picnic lunch and a chair and come play with us at Perkins Road Park at the corner of Perkins Road and Kenilworth Parkway. We will be have several activities for to take part in and some great door prizes. We hope to see you there! This meeting is open to all interested adults. Children encouraged to attend! There
is Albertson's grocery store, Taco Bell, Popeye's, Burger King, Wendy's
(GREAT salads!), Podnah's BBQ, and several restaurants if you'd like
to pick up YOUR picnic on the way.

out the red carpet, LaNAAFA is going to the movies! We have set up two
group movie dates and we hope you will take time out to come with us
to Oak Cinema, in Baton Rouge which has the new seating! On Saturday,
November 23rd and Saturday, December, 14th, we are going
to the movies. We plan on going to the first showing of one of the movies
playing in the theaters with the new seats. As the dates draw near and
the theater has it's schedule out, we will announce which movie we'll
be seeing. After the movies, we are planning to go out to lunch as a
group! We hope you will make plans to take time out to have a relaxing
movie date with us.
